Who is responsible for your information
Coops IT Services Ltd is expected to act as the data controller for information submitted through this website. Privacy questions should be sent to hello@coopsitservices.co.uk.
Information collected
The contact form may collect your name, email address, company, enquiry type and the contents of your message. Basic technical security logs may also be created by the hosting provider when you access the site.
Purpose and lawful basis
Enquiry information is used to understand and respond to potential contract or consulting work, manage pre-contract discussions and protect the website from misuse. The intended lawful bases are legitimate interests and, where discussions lead toward an agreement, steps taken at your request before entering a contract. These bases should be confirmed during professional review.
Retention
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries should be removed after a defined period. Before launch, insert a proportionate retention period here: [ADD RETENTION PERIOD]. Information needed for contracts, legal obligations or dispute handling may need to be retained for longer.
Service providers
Cloudflare may process limited technical data to host and protect the site. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process IP, browser and device signals to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. If the form adapter is connected to an email, automation or form provider, that provider must be named here and covered by an appropriate agreement before launch.
Analytics
No analytics are enabled by default. If privacy-focused Cloudflare Web Analytics is introduced, this notice should be updated to explain the data processed and any choices available to visitors.
Cookies
The site does not intentionally set non-essential tracking or advertising cookies. Hosting and security services may use strictly necessary mechanisms to deliver and protect the site. This section must be rechecked whenever integrations are added.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, object to processing, or ask for information to be transferred. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Requests can be sent to hello@coopsitservices.co.uk.
Changes
This notice should be updated when the contact service, hosting, analytics, retention practice or other data processing changes.
